The dresser took about 3 1/2 hours to put together and there was a crack on one side. I am not sure of the life span of the dresser especially is there is heavy usage but I am hopeful.

I am happy with this item especially for the price BUT it is a bit junky. The drawers don't go in and out nicely and when I was building the piece it was cracking and breaking in places
