For some reason, 8 1/2" x 11" college ruled paper is not very easy to come across. Not only is this the perfect size but the holes are reinforced so they don't tear when placed in a 3-ring binder. These are the best of not book papers. They are thicker, have hole guard strips down the sides, and the colors are brighter. I'm no longer a student, but I used these to do my budgeting and as a planner and they're quite long lasting.
