This worked out for the best because I didn't realize the cognac color has gold flecks in the jute which is not what I wanted so I got the black instead and I love it! ...

It's a very attractive tote, well made. BUT the jute it's made from has a strong rope smell. I let it air for 10 days which lessened the odor. In the end, the bag didn't hold as much as I was hoping and I found another similar one elsewhere.
