Love this series for my young children. I'm a social studies teacher turned librarian and when I found and read this book I began checking out and buying more in the same series. I love the illustrations and how each book seems to blend text and cartoon/comic bubbles (like in a graphic novel).

Too whimsical, too incomplete, too many ridiculous anachronisms for a biography. There are many, many better alternatives for introducing younger readers to Lincoln's life.
