The bowl is basic but it is of good quality. It is strong, sturdy, and solid. I actually thought is was going to be bigger to be honest, but it is the perfect size for a very small serving dish (think dip, olives, cranberry) or a reasonably sized dinner salad or pasta bowl. All in all it is not bad.

I got this bowl for a plant base to hold water as to not get the top of furniture wet. I think all plants need drainage and this solves my problem both for the plant and furniture it may be placed on.

Attractive, functional shape and size, many uses. BPA free. I love that these are made 100% from recycled plastic bottles. Dishwasher and microwave safe. Smooth black surface speckled with grey. Diameter is 8" with 2" depth, they are practical and nice looking.
