Cool little tool to help with bigger contaminants. Basically, the heavier the contaminant, the more likely it will be separated by this trap. You should still use the two-bucket method, as this does not *clean* your water. Made well, very easy to remove, clean, handle, etc.

This dirt trap is genius! The Dirt from the cleaning mitt falls to the bottom and stays there thanks to this Dirt trap. Great design.
