There's tinsil woven into the fabric. It's still a really nice rug and we're going to keep it I just had no idea it was going to shimmer!

The rug is really beautiful in person. Look at the photos from other purchasers. The black looks soft, could pass for navy and the silver glint is subtle. It is thin and I bought a rug pad for it, which made it feel more substantial. Also, it does smell sort of weird when you first open it but af...
