Also the laminate has a very weird texture that doesn't seem to be laminate, causing the dresser to be stained. The drawers are very hard to ope...

I can't tell if this is just poorly manufactured, or if Walmart doesn't care about their shipping/packaging policies but this came damaged twice. It is also extremely heavy so to get it out of the box and back in multiple times was a feat all in it's own. Would not recommend.

Im not understanding all the negative reviews,,,, Or maybe we got lucky with ours? Sure assembly took a bit but nothing out of the norm. It looks great when put together, fits perfect in my sons room. No weird smell. Only flaw is when first inserting the drawers they arw a pain as they wont slide...

Easy to put together. Nice and sturdy. Put it in my kitchen for extra storage for kids toys to be put away!
