The wool has a beautiful texture and is extremely soft underfoot. I expected more shedding but there's been virtually none after one good initial vacuum. This seems like a very high quality rug. Not sure it will fit in my home washing machine but can always take it to a laundromat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I still can't believe this is wool and washable! It's a beautiful runner. Looks just like the photos and is nice and comfy under my feet. I haven't washed it yet so I can't vouch for that. But the quality looks great so far!

Rug is super soft and goes with everything. Just be aware if you buy the larger version of this rug it will most likely won't fit in a regular size washer.
