    Pretty dry. (Not that I was expecting a real page turner) It looks like many of the policies could flow from the statement: "We want Iraq to be its own country, and as its own country, you can expect it to do things that the US would not do"... e.g.: Open up talks with Syria and Iran.

    Interesting. Gives you (somewhat) an idea of how-and-why we're still in the mess we're in over there. Overall though not much from a historical perspective of this timeframe (2005-2007 Iraq/US relations).
