I do like the book. My concern is that in some places the language (explanations) still isn't clear enough for Seniors to understand. Seems like the author is taking too much for granted in our understanding of some terms. It takes some 'studying' to comprehend

This book worked well for me, it did not contain as much as I would have liked pertaining to folders and how to deal with Word Pad and Note Pad... Other then that it was good and have used some of the other books like it...

I am not a novice using computers but 8.1 is terrible. Would not have purchased it if I'd known how bad it is. This book does help. Once you get the idea of how to move around and find things it makes life a bit easier. I would recommend it for anyone...it does help while you are learning Windows...

My old computer had XP Windows so needed updating. This book is being used every time I get on computer--quiet a difference but now I feel more confident.
