This is a good pillow. It molds to your neck and head. I use a pillow case so I have not experienced the cooling effect of it. Wish it would have a removable cover so it can be washed.

I bought 2 of these for my grandchildren. They both say it's comfortable and nice to sleep on but it still makes their head sweat a little bit. So the built-in cooling gel does work to a point.

It is a decent pillow. However, I got a pinched nerve in my neck and been through over 20 pillows trying to find that works. I will stay with his one. I am having an MRI done tomorrow.
