This desk is very strong and stable. The lifting mechanism is reliable and smooth. The only criticism is that the desk does not lower enough for a standard chair. I use a counter-height bar stool to sit at the desk.

Sorry, but this desk has a higher setting that isn't quite high enough for taller people. It also doesn't sit quite low enough either on the lower setting to use it with a standard chair height either.

Love it for the way it looks and robust materials, just wished that adjusted to a lower height (3 or 4 more inches) and tilted to a 30 degree angle for ease of typing on my computer.
