I enjoy having the bottom open; it's excellent for my son's room because it's smaller and allows us to bring in another twin size mattress for visitors, and when not needed, it's utilized for his toys and a larger space to play in.

My spouse installed this alongside my brother-in-law. Fairly simple to put together. My child adores it. However, the metal ladder hurts my children's feet, so I'd consider buying pool noodles to add to the steps. This bed is suitable for tiny areas.

Perfect for our grandchildren. And I love that you can unstack for adult visitors. My spouse and I completed the assembly quickly together. We're fairly handy, and my husband is the best at putting things together.

So far, so good. I've had two adolescents weighing around 150 pounds each for nearly a year. Holding up well.....ladder became loose, but I fixed it before it got worse. Keep a watch on bolts loosening......it's really durable.....took a time to put together.
