I enjoyed this book and thought it was remarkably smart and well-done. However, due to the higher reading level I would recommend it for older teens, as younger and less mature teens will not be interested. I did attempt to read the sequel to this but it had lost some of its verve by then.

Great read. I love the depth of this book as different time periods mingle and clash. It is a bit hefty for those who like a fast pace book. But for those of us who love a fascinating world its great. Can't wait for the second one.
