Our Solar System (Revised Edition)

This is an updated version which explains the Pluto issue. It's the copy my library has. I thought the photos were gorgeous, but the text rather dry - hard going as a leisure read, but an excellent resource for a research report or a child who's really into space. I learned a couple of things.

The first thing I noticed about this book is that it is up-to-date. It only mentions 9 planets, now that Pluto has been demoted. The second thing I noticed was that this book never once mentions the big bang theory. It alludes to it on the first page : "Our solar system was born among the billion...
