It has a smaller diameter than others of its volume (with higher sides) so works well for cooling small amounts. Its solid construction means the saucepan is heavier than other varieties, so that might be an issue for some people.

Well-made! You can really feel the heft of the pan but somehow it's easy to move around based on what you need. The rounded corners really make a difference so you can easily get everything.
