The game play is no where as good as the NBA 2k series. I'm not sure if EA just forgot about the game but you can't even update to current NBA rosters.

after watching gameplay on youtube of this game, i almost legit threw up. This is so bad it looks like it's from like 2005. I think EA should give up on their basketball franchise. They won't ever overtake 2k. If you don't have much money and u want a next gen game, then get 2k14 instead of this ...

I'm happy that EA is back in the basketball game, but this was just a terrible effort that failed miserably. It falls short of NBA 2K14 in so many ways. The graphics aren't as good, the ball physics aren't as good, the animations are clunky and not smooth, the ball bouncing off the rim looks wors...

Game has pretty nice graphics, still not as good as NBA2K14 and game play is poor...almost boring. Controls by shooting with a button is not fun..as an example. They had over 2 years to work on this as EA did not release an NBA game last year and this is truly a disappointment. Expected much more...
