Surprisingly sturdy, package arrived damaged, but the product was intact. My daughter loves it and says the storage is adequate. Worth the money and very time consuming. For a youth bed and very good price

It took me about 25 minutes to put the bed together, by myself without assistance. All the parts requried are included; but I did cheat with my power tool instead of using the manual Allen key. All the pieces fit together per the instructions and there was no surprise.
