Read on November 01, 2014 This is the true story of Ivan, the Shopping Mall Gorilla. I loved Applegate's middle grade book about Ivan, so I was excited for this one. She didn't hold back or spare any of the sad details of Ivan's lonely life before he moved to Zoo Atlanta.
