Was blending a smoothie and it just stopped working

I can't rate this low enough. This thing needs to be taken off the market. It literally blew the side out while I was making a smoothie. It's a good thing the huge chunk of plastic flying at me hit me in the chest and not the face. I would have needed stitches.

It works great. A good basic buy. I did find that the reassembly of the blade and gasket back into its place - after disassembling for washing -- to be a bit tricky. The gasket must be carefully put on top of the blade first, then both put back in place, then locked shut. I decided not to d...
