I thought I ordered a rechargeable mouse but I guess not. Anyway this one does not seem to have the range of my old (read cheaper) mouse. If the mouse is too far from my laptop. the cursor just kind of goes where it wants to. Not what I'd expect from Microsoft.

Sets up easily, and works well. This is the second mouse of this brand and style that we've purchased. The first one lasted YEARS in the hands of a teenager. The old one still works, though the side rubber bits are coming off. Sturdy mouse. I would definitely recommend this item.
