I loved this book. I had no idea that there were Jews that fled to China to escape Hitler! Daniel Kalla tells a wonderful story revealing such tragedy and heartbreak, but also introduces acts of bravery and tiny glimmers of hope. If you love stories about WWII, you must read-you will be surprised!
