mmm.. no character development, plenty of fight scenes and scenes where they discuss weaponry ad nauseum, sounds like a screenplay to me.. Don't get me wrong, it was fun when I wasn't shaking my head, but definitely not what I'd been given to expect of Mr Ringo.

I didn't find the two younger characters to be believable...had they been in their early 20s or even late teens, the whole suspension of disbelief thing would have worked better.
