Iv had this for little over a year now and love it. Over all it is a great plane . Take the time to round the corners a little sharpen and you have a very good plane to work with . I definitely recommend it [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Great Plane. Adjustments are easy and precise. The iron needed sharpening out of the box as expected, but the plane base is flat and the sides are square so no work needed there. Once sharpened, I was able to create paper thin shavings in maple easily. Highly recommended and a good value.

My search for the 12-136 popped up Walmart! Who... for tools? Nice tools? Walmart! Best price, store nearby, special pick-up desk by the front door, and the same packaging as purchased anywhere. Sweet.
