    My least favorite Mayor so far. I found it violent and a little far fetched. The ending seemed a bit abrupt; not discussion of what happened in Middlebury where a lot of the action including car crashes, killings, including some state troopers took place. No fallout?     Mayor jumps the shark a bit in this chapter of Joe Gunther's story. Russian spies, the CIA, an assistant a.g. eager to stick it to a cop - it gets a little hectic. I hope the next episode is more domestic.

    This series is consistently good and this book is a good example of it. Although it was written 10 years ago it is not stale. Some of the information about GPS is outdated now, but the story is still viable.
