The memory boards were easy to install. Installing new memory allows my computer to run multiple programs at the same time, makes it run much faster. If you have an older iMac and you upgrade to a newer operating system, it is imperative that you increase your memory.

I have an old imac, 6 years old. Needed more memory when it started going too slow. Apple didn't even sell it anymore, they considered my computer vintage. For $30+ I got double the memory and didn't have to go out and buy a new computer. Worked beautifully.
