I think it is adorable. Plastic base can be painted. Having trouble finding a lamp shade that matches in cuteness. Only thing is that it does not come with harp for shade just as an fyi if ordering.

I picked up this lamp with site to store and had it same day. The shade i chose and the white rustic paint on the lamp blend well and look great in almost any space!
