A tradition retelling with beautiful illustrations. I also remember this story from my childhood. If you look closely, you will see that the bears are just having a picnic in their backyard. I am surprised they didn't hear the commotion going on inside of their house.

This classic story is great to read to children. It introduces them to classic tales that everyone should know. Gorbachev does not differ from the original tale in his story. The illustrations are very cute and children will like seeing the different things Goldlilocks tries out.
