I guess I didn't pay attention to the 1" diameter ... this rod is a statement piece to be added to your curtains or drapes. It is bold and beautiful. It also seems heavy duty. I use with in my bedroom with four panels of black out curtains (heavy) and it has no issues holding them up.

Actually think and good quality, it's not a cheap super thin rod. And looks good too!

I was looking for a curtain rod that could withstand my child who has so far bent every other we have tried. This one is built like it could weather any storm even when fully extended it is still very solid. I loved that there is three wall braces in with this rod for extra security and stability...

This rod was better than I expected. The black matte color blends in nicely with my decor. The rod is adjustable so it can fit a variety of window sizes. It is relatively sturdy, just use caution taking it to the max without a supporting brace in the center if you have heavy curtains.

This arrived in a long box, easy to set up. Has a sleek, beautiful design and the color fits nicely with the bedroom set. It is a great fit for the window as well. Curtains fit in nicely and really look good with the color of both. Really beautiful design for a living room or dining room type win...
