I had to return two other irons of a different brand (Hamilton Beach), because they leaked. This one is also heavy enough that I don't have to press as hard to iron cotton shirts. I really like it so far.

This iron does not "leak." Some irons tilt over easily, but this one does not. It gets hot enough (1800 watt) to iron heavy cotton (jeans) and low enough for delicate items. I really like the steam feature, whether ironing on a flat surface or holding it straight up to steam wrinkles out of a gar...

Heats quickly and hot enough, auto shut offs, and pointed tip for ironing tight places. No unnecessary "do-dads" to drive up price so it's cost is reasonable.
