The chairs are easy to assemble and they look beautiful! I wouldn't recommend them if you are looking for a true gold colored base (legs) though; the color is more bronze, than gold.

Very happy with this purchase, I think the base being described as gold in color is a bit misleading, it's more of a dirty brass color with a hint of green than gold, and not metallic, but other than that the chair is great
