I'm a little speechless on this one, which might be a good thing. It won't be making its way onto any of my high school recommendation lists, but I do know some college students who would enjoy it and/or benefit from this perspective. I am curious enough to want to read the next volume.

This is not usually my jam - everyone talks about the amazing pulpiness of this book, but that's not really all that appealing to me - but it turns out I adore everything about this book. Penny is a hero. I want to see the six-part movie series of this.
