I teach Mexican American studies at a high school in Dallas. I have an older version of this book, which was good, but some of the vocabulary was not 2022 friendly. When I saw this updated version, the vocabulary, pictures, and work had been updated to work in my classroom.

I have been using this book with my 5th grades in NYC for the five years, at least. I love that there are lower level passages I can use to help differentiate. The material is thorough and interesting.
