I bought this for its size...a smaller baking dish that fits into a toaster over when you dont want to use a full size oven.

This casserole dish is the perfect size for me and my husband. Probably not big enough for a large family. I made baked beans in it and we had enough leftover for a couple more meals. It's very pretty and I love that it has a lid.

I'll probably just use this as a tray to keep things on instead of for cooking. Although the measurements are provided, I thought it would be bigger, would only hold a very small amount of food

Nice baking dish. Certainly a good item for the price. Good weight and thickness. The only down-side is the handle on the lid is too close to the base of the lid making it difficult to get your hand and fingers around to lift it off, especially if you are wearing mittens, which you definitely ...
