We just moved to a new home with hardwood floors in the kitchen. I purchased this rug in 2 x 3 for the front of the refrigerator where ice chips fall and water splashes. Being washable is a big plus to me. I haven't washed it yet, but it looks sturdy and doesn't show dirt really after two weeks....

This rug is prettier in person than on line. Its colors are more peach toned than it looks on line. Very pretty, would buy from them again. You definitely need a good pad underneath, even if its held in place by furniture. The rug itself is thin.
