    This was almost as good as the first in the series but it was a little confusing at times. You must read the first in the series to know what is going on in this book. I love the characters. I hope there will be more.

    This is a followup novel to "The Golem of Hollywood". I haven't read that book, but I must say this one stands up very well on it's own merit. LAPD Detective Jacob Lev is off the wagon again. Who wouldn't be after what he has seen. I'm not talking about the day to day horrors of Los Angeles crime...
