There is not much to this novel, but if you enjoy books about the early 20th century (as I do), you might like this. Rich girl sees poor girl and offers to help her. A short book that packs a big punch. It's nice to pick up a book you can read in an afternoon. Liked the characters and their stories. This would be a great book for a book club. Open for lots of discussion.

This book was reccomended to me. When I started it I thought it was going to be too victorian & predictable. But, what a nice surprise! It is a romance, set in New York during WWI, a chance meeting changes lives.
