This dark blue plate is made by Mainstays. It is plastic, but it's hard and very sturdy. I recommend it for sandwiches, cold snacks, and stuff like that. It is rather large so it will hold a lot. I would recommend this plate.

Very nice plate. The lip (or edge) is nice for keeping sauces or juices from falling off the plate. It is a larger size than the current plate I'm using or at least it seems like it is. I like the dark blue color. I've always had light or white plates. This is different.

I love using these kinds of plates for my children. They are too old for small children's plates, but I hesitate to give them glass or porcelain. These are a normal size plate, but plastic. It is thin, but durable. It would be great for a college dorm too.
