Easy to install curtain rod. I didn't know wear if meant by “room darkening” until I put it up, but I guess it's so you can pull the curtain all the way around to the wall, which is nice, so my dog isn't peaking outside at the neighbors cats.

Needed something simple to hang some curtains. Shipping was very reliable, came in it's own box. No damages. Really liked this Pewter finish, matches my hardware in the bathroom. Easy to install, came with instructions and all the hardware. Should last a while if not forever.
