After reading others reviews I expected a less then cozy rich soft rug. And this is all that. Although bumpy, we like the feel!! It's beautiful!!

I like the rug. It is a little lighter than I expected and more shaggy looking than the photos, but still a good quality rug. There is no jute backing covering the reverse side. It is plush but also bumpy to walk on. Be sure to use a rugpad to keep it in place.
