Good enough to keep me up all night until I finished it. Has some definite "red herrings" to keep you guessing who the real killer was but still was able to figure it out before the reveal. Learned a little about the biochemical-technological industry, too.

Chasing the Dime is Connelly's departure from the more formulaic Bosch police procedural novels. I listened to this as an audiobook which said that the text was abridged for the audio. It did have an abrupt ending and was a rather convoluted story. More so than in the other Connelly books, the action and tension were almost constant once started.
