Engaging interviews with many top comedians about comedy, but too often Apatow seems to be telling the same stories over and over since he really interjects himself into the later interviews; he seems to have been a better interviewer when he was 15 than he is now.

Some really great interviews and some not so great. Relating personal stories or influences to connect with an interview subject is a great thing, but when the same basic stories are repeated for 556 pages it can get a bit tiresome.
