Was heavy, but everything packaged nicely in the headboard. No damage to the upholstery, which I was nervous about. Clear instructions and simple to put together. The Velcro wooden slats give great support and no box spring needed. I trust Zinus and Walmart.

Love this bed. I am an almost 50 year old single woman. I brought it in and assembled it in about 1 1/2 hours. It's very pretty, sturdy, had clear directions. I got it when it was on sale and I'm very happy with my purchase. Definitely recommend. Shipping seemed to take forever via FedEx.
