It was better quality than I expected. I just tossed it in the dryer to try and get the wrinkles from packaging out and figured I would have to iron most. It came out fine with no ironing.

spread looks like a quilted item; (two sheets, with a layer of fill between), we like the chocolate brown color; it won't last as long as ribcord, or the familiar coarse weave spreads, but we need a spread and we are keeping it....feels like cotton; probably is cotton.

I always launder everything I purchase to get rid of any dust, chemicals, etc. I had to iron the scallops as the underside turned outward. I washed it in cold water, dried it on low temp and the sides don't come down to the floor. I will use it until I can find something else.
