I wasn't expecting a long-term piece of furniture when I purchased this but was extremely surprised when I dragged the box inside. It was very, very heavy. 2 nice solid pieces of wood, the frame isn't solid but it is solid enough to handle the weight. Overall LOVE the purchase and glad I made it.
