Tastes like sugared water. Brown colored water claiming to be organic vegetable broth. Onion soup is BEEF broth so off the bat, it stinks. They should label it VEGETARIAN or VEGAN. This doesn't quite have that “onion” flavor. Reminds me of a veggie base. Tastes ok. On the sweeter side, I prefer more salt. I added extra seasoning to be honest and almost nothing changed. This is nearly as good as some frozen onion soup that I used and paid over $6 per bowl with shipping cost included. So I am pleased to have found it.Of course I add some beef flavor, cheese and toast. I will be buying more in the future.
