It is a little on the smaller side. I am 5'7" 150 and it is fine. Comfy enough for a visit. This is a nice comfortable velvet chair to place in the corner of my bedroom. My issue is that the teal color is more is much darker than the picture shown online. It's much closer to emerald or jade green. Online the picture looks more of sea or mint green, even turquoise.
