I personally turned two 40x63in navy curtains sideways to cover this approx 94in window. They aren't draped because there are bars underneath which protrude a bit. They totally block the summer light

The curtain has a elegant light satin finish. The curtains black out the sun completely. The curtains keeps the room cool. I'm sure it will keep the cold out in the winter time. The curtains are heavy.
