I love this book. The diverse characters, the scale and scope of the story, the adventure, and especially the rather gentle way the ship's crew took care of each other. Oh, and a tiny little knitting shout out at the end. What's not to love???

Lovely and uplifting. Nicely fleshed-out aliens and characters, and I liked the coziness of the shipboard atmosphere.
